Rental Options
Depending on customers’ needs and requirements, they can rent a truck and/or other vehicle on a daily, monthly or ad-hoc basis:
- A cash transaction facility is available to walk-in customers that requires Rent-a-Bakkie and /or other car rental options;
- An ad-hoc truck rental option mainly for existing customers;
- Monthly contracts are available to customers that require vehicles for longer periods; and
- A full maintenance leasing (FML) option is available to customers that requires renting the vehicle over an extended period of time.
Drivers
Customers can choose between the self-drive option or make use of Value’s well trained and reliable drivers.
Where to rent a vehicle?
Value Truck Rental and other vehicle rental operations are available at Value branches in all major centres countrywide.
Value’s Line Haul Division operates:
- Nationally – within the borders of South Africa
- Cross-border – to and from Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique
- Locally – within the boundaries of Gauteng
- Containerised operations
- Moving import containers from ports
- Collecting rail deliveries at Kazerne (where’s this?..am I being blonde?..should it not be KZN?)
- Transporting to de-stuffing (is this correct? - YES) destinations and return, amongst other services.
Security
Vehicle security is maintained through 24-hour surveillance by Value’s Monitoring Division, satellite tracking.
